Everyone want to ourselves marry become memorable and 10-10-10 is memorable number. Ten is a number known for excellence. Couples like Steven and Marianne Morrison hope three ten’s will be better for their marriage than just one.
“Everyone was going to get married, and we just started throwing dates out there. We were thinking about the summertime, and we just kind of came up with 10-10-10,” Steven Morrison said.
Thousands of couples flocked to Las Vegas to say their nuptials on 10-10-10.
“They chose this date 10-10-10,” said Little White Wedding Chapel owner Charlotte Richards. “From a scale of one to ten, they’re number 10. They’re the best, and they feel the best. They feel good about what’s happening to them today.”
At the world famous Little White Wedding Chapel, couples chose to celebrate their nuptials in a variety of ways, from the backseat of a convertible Cadillac to a motorcycle.
For ten couples, 10-10-10 at 10:10 am will be remembered for a different reason. In front of the Trevi Fountain at Caesars Palace, ten men dropped to one knee and proposed to their significant others.
Omar Valentine waited 55 years to pop the question. “I only went with her one time, didn’t have the nerve to ask her again,” he said. That was back in 1955. Valentine and fiancé Lynette Kipp went their separate ways after graduation, married and each had kids. Omar never forgot Lynette.
“Every time things went wrong in life, you had to wonder what if I would have married Lynette,” he asked. After reconnecting during a class reunion last year, they never left each other’s side.
For all couples joined this day, 10-10-10 is a day of perfection. “You can’t relive this day. It’s a day that’s remembered forever,” Richards said.
Omar and Lynette are choosing between Jamaica, Mexico, or Dominican Republic as possible locations for their wedding. Locations is also important part of our life because it also brilliant.
