Wynn & Encore Las Vegas

Wynn Las Vegas is located at Las Vegas Boulevard South and Sands Avenue, on the north east corner, directly across The Strip from the Fashion Show Mall. Named after casino developer Steve Wynn, the Wynn Las Vegas features 2,716 rooms and suites, 111,000 square feet of gaming space, a convention center offering 223,000 square feet of space, over 76,000 square feet of retail space, and a golf course exclusively for hotel guests. In December 2008, the adjacent Encore opened featuring an additional 2,034 spacious suites.

At its opening, Wynn was the tallest hotel building on The Strip (a record which lasted for 2 years) and was also the first Las Vegas casino resort to feature a luxury car (Ferrari-Maserati) dealership. For a $10 per person admission fee, guests can enter the Penske-Wynn Ferrari-Maserati dealership and have a look at the vehicles on display in the showroom. Registered Ferrari-Maserati owners are exempted from the $10 fee, as well as children accompanying paying adults. At night, experience the mystery of the Lake of Dreams at Wynn Las Vegas. This 3-acre lake is surounded by lush landscaping and features a spectacular multi-media light and laser show, projecting ‘music and dream sequences’ over the lake. In front of the lake’s wall of water, silhouetted sculptured figures seem to rise out of the lake – a definite must-see attraction.

Whether it’s a full breakfast, brunch, or a late night snack – or maybe just a sweet treat, there are many different dining options at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas. From the pan-Asian cuisine at Wazuzu, to the seafood and steakhouse fare at Switch, to early French-influenced Shanghai cuisine at Wing Lei, Wynn and Encore Las Vegas are revolutionizing the Las Vegas Strip’s dining scene.
